Photographs :The Pause Button of Life

                   PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is the art of capturing moments. Photography is the mean by which we can capture the dynamic moments of life into a life-long static memory. Photographs do not face the barrier of time even if we look at them after years we can remind of that moment that happened many years ago. Photography is an art and mastering any art requires practice. Photography has its own set of rules and techniques and by following them we can take some really alluring and aesthetic photos.

  Some of these techniques and rules are as below.

1.RULE OF THIRDS(BLUE):

This rule describes the basic compositional structure of a photograph .Photography is much more than just shooting images left, right, and center. This rule helps us in taking professional looking photographs.

This guitar in this picture is my first ever guitar. From my early school days I have great interest in music that's why I started playing guitar. Playing guitar gives me immense pleasure and joy. Although I have more musical instruments as well but guitar and particularly this one is very close to my heart.

2.RULE OF THIRDS(YELLOW):
This photo was captured by me during my recent visit to Lahore Fort .The natural growth of this flower in-front of a centuries old worn out building depicts a story in itself .The king and his majesty faded away but nature stayed. The photograph below is of some simple flowers but they carry a deep message of:

                                           "Time passes but life goes on".

3.FILL-THE-FRAME:
         Fill-the-frame technique focuses on filling the photograph with more of the subject.
The photograph below is of the majestic hallway of the Badshahi mosque,Lahore Fort.This hallway is designed in such a way that standing at one end the viewer can see the same structure repeating up-to infinity .

4.DOWN-LOW PHOTO OF A BUILDING:
      The building below is one most famous uncompleted infra-structure of Faisalabad. This building is under construction from an eternity and is expected to last till another eternity .This is called the "Paradise Tower" of Faisalabad. The first time I saw this building was the same as it is now. Lets hope it completes in the future.
5.LEADING LINES:
                Leading lines are lines that appear in a photograph that have been framed and positioned by the photographer to draw the viewer's eye towards a specific point of interest. The picture below is of the lamp in a park. This park is a place of so many nostalgic moments. my childhood was spent in this park.

6.LEADING LINES:
                  This picture is of one of the most famous overhead bridge ofFfaisalabad and the person standing is my brother. We share a bond of brotherhood and friendship. The leading lines are provided by this bridge.

7.VERTICAL PORTRAIT:
           The person in this portrait is again my brother. His personality is exactly as he is in the picture. He is jolly and we share a beautiful bond of brotherhood and friendship.

8.HORIZONTAL PORTRAIT:
         The person below is Uzair Shafi. He is one the best person I have met in my  University. Hailing all the way from faisalabad(my hometown) but GOD planned for us to meet in NUST. This person is my jamming partner. If there is any gathering or jamming session this person never disappoints me and always stands by my side and excites the crowd with his wrong lyrics but most importantly he is an understanding good friend.

9.CREATIVE PHOTO:
        The only photo which was not taken by me .If you take good photos then it is good but if your friends take good photos then it is better because you can only take selfies by yourself and they are not very much aesthetic so having good photographer friends is a blessing.
Performing in gatherings is always the best experience. I have performed at many events with a large amount of audience but the most recent one was on my Orientation Day at NUST. This day is still fresh in my mind. The crowd was supporting and I was so much immersed in the groove that I sang and completely ignored my surroundings. I think this is the best moment a musician can feel.

THANK YOU!!!
